The Corbeau Hexa is in high demand from drivers who require their seat to be mounted not only at the base, but around the shoulder area for added stiffness, yet have no requirement for FIA homologation.
This seat gave Corbeau’s motorsport design team an interesting challenge, and with the increased popularity in head protection seats, eventually they came up with this ultra-safe, simple design that ticked all the boxes. It is constructed using identical lay ups and technical detail as used in their FIA composite seats, It also uses the same mounting point bonded threat inserts, enabling the use of their Corbeau Motorsport designed alloy side mounts. The Hexa is trimmed, using their high density motorsport foam and motorsport derived technical fabrics, with an option on a choice of colours and bespoke designs.
