The Sabelt Gold Super Formula is a 8 point harness designed for single seater vehicles such as formula cars, where weight saving is crucial without compromising on safety. This harness uses titanium and aluminium for its harness fittings, resulting in a reduction in weight when compared to other harnesses. This 8 point harness utilises 2 sets of shoulder straps, 2 of which has 3″ wide webbing, and 2 that has 2″ wide webbing. This harness is ideal for use with an FHR device, which is why there are varying widths of shoulder straps. the 3″ wide webbing is designed to fit under an FHR device, whilst the 2″ wide webbing fits over the FHR device, ensuring it is fitted perfectly and is secure. By using two sets of shoulder straps, comfort and safety are both significantly increased as it means the FHR device is not in direct contact with the driver. The lap and crutch straps feature 2″ webbing; velcro tabs are utilised at the bottom of the shoulder straps provide an attachment point to keep the straps out the way whilst entering or exiting the cockpit, making getting in and out the seat so much more efficient.
