The JP Porsche 911 991 (2014-2018) JP Style Clubsport is a GT3 cage with a twist. JP have replicated and adapted the GT3 cage using Curved gussets, X-centre with harness bars, and X-rear in BS4-T45. This cage weighs approximately 17kg and is fitted using existing mounting points in the car. The cage is designed to line up with the existing holes in the Genuine GT3 seat delete kit, so you could fit your 911 Turbo S with the GT3 rear trim work and it will all fit with the cage. You will need to make an extra slot in the rear shelf carpet to accommodate the extra diagonal which the GT3 cage does not have.
Key Features:
- Fits Panoramic roof and non panoramic roof
- JP only uses the best materials for their cages
Fitting Process:
- Remove the Front seats
- Remove the rear seats
- Loosen or remove the carpet which sits under the rear seats
- Remove one of the rear side trims from B pillar back to rear window
- Remove the rear window bay trim which covers the fuses and wiring
- Remove the nuts from the rear strut tops
- Place the rear section of the cage so it lays on the step below where the wiring is with the mounts under the one remaining trim against the step shelf where the wiring and polystyrene is. This will allow you to refit the Side Trim you removed by sliding it between the cage and the car and popping it back in place.
- Once the trim is back in place you can now move the rear section of the cage up and into position onto the strut tops and put the nuts back on, just leave them finger tight so you have movement to fit the front of the cage.
- Now you have the rear in position you can remove the 2 bolts which go through the rear seat beam
- Sit the front part of the cage on the beam and fit the bolts through the cage feet and the beam loosely.
- Fit the bolts into the lap joints which join the two halves of the cage, you may need a woggle bar or old screw driver to assist in aligning the holes.
- Once all the fasteners are in place you can tighten them all up.
- Now the cage is in place you can refit the rear window bay trim and the carpets and seat delete kit, this can be a bit fiddly to get back in place but the trims are flexible enough to pass through the cage, you may need someone fairly small or agile to lean through the cage to refit.
- Fit the seats and Enjoy.
Weight:
- Approximately 17KG
