We’ve worked with the Ford Fiesta for many years and come to know the car very, very well. The ongoing debate caused by a change in it’s name in 1999 causes ongoing confusion when customers require fitting frames. So we’re here to give you that information in a nice neat package.

Ford Fiesta Mk5 – 2002 – 2008 - Ford Fiesta Mk6 – 2008 – 2019
In the UK, the Mk 4.5 is sometimes referred to as a MK5. This then makes the Mk5, a mk6, and the mk6, a mk7. This is in-correct when it comes to chassis bolt points and matching up fixing brackets. The brackets we recommend, list and provide are based on our dates.Â
Once you start using your Ford Fiesta MK5 for fast road and track use, you’ll soon realize just how much you need new bucket seats to provide more support.Â
On cornering, you may find your self holding onto the steering wheel tighter than usual, tensing your thighs and legs against the central console and/or door card. You’ll probably find your weight shifting in the seat and having to re-position your self after the corner.Â
None of this is correct. Your seat should provide the right level of support so that you can grip the steering wheel only for steering, your legs should be supported and your weight shouldn’t shift around.
