Which seat brackets should you use?
One of the most common questions we get asked is, “which bracket should I use for seat A, B, or C?” When it comes down to seats, there are so many variables depending on what car you are installing the seat to and what exact seat you are using. Â
Each brand has their own bolt installation bolt point patterns (some do match) which then must be used in conjunction with a set range of seat brackets. This will allow much easier installation for your vehicle. Getting the right seat bracket for the right seat is critical.
So which brackets fit OMP seats? Well, let’s take a look at each of the variations and what we recommend. There is no one set rule here, so let’s break it down.

The resulting recommendations are based on previous customer car installations and over 15 years of experience.
OMP vehicle specific brackets:
OMP produces these vehicle-specific brackets which have a bolt pattern of of 345mm to 405mm side to side. This is key to matching up the right seats. Â
OMP recommended parts:
We recommend matching the OMP vehicle-specific bracket with the OMP seat sliding runner kit. This will allow your seats to slide backward and forwards. The side mount brackets will be used with the compatible side mount bucket seats listed below.
Compatible base mounted reclining seats:
All the seats we list have base mount bolt points that match the OMP bolt points of 345mm wide. This allows for direct installation when used with the OMP seat slider kit recommended above. You can match the OMP, Sparco, Corbeau, and Auto Style reclining seats to these seat frames.
Compatible base mounted bucket seats:
All the seats we list have base mount bolt points that match the Sparco bolt points of 345mm wide. This allows for direct installation when used with the Sparco seat slider kit recommended above. You can match the Sparco, OMP, and Auto Style reclining seats to these seat frames.

Compatible base mounted classic seats:
All the seats we list have base mount bolt points that match the OMP bolt points of 345mm wide. This allows for direct installation when used with the OMP seat slider kit recommended above. You can match the OMP, Sparco, and Auto Style reclining seats to these seat frames.
Compatible side mounted bucket seats:
All the seats we list have side mount bolt points and require side mount brackets. However, using a set of OMP side mounts, the bolt points will still align with the OMP sliding runners. This allows for direct installation when using the OMP seat slider kit recommended above. You can match a range of seats which we’ve tested. Not all bucket seats will work using this method though. So please make note of our recommendations.
