The Tillett W2I Carbon Racing Car Seat. The W2I is a 25 mm wider handmade version of the W1. The weight of the Carbon version is 2 kg.
The seat can be ordered with a floor mountable back frame, which is a secondary moulding bonded to the back. This makes the fitting easier, as the seat is then able to self-support itself from the floor. The back frame also enables you to fit the seat directly onto the Tillett TR1 seat adjustment runners. The weight of the W2i without the back frame is 2 kg. The weight with a back frame is 3.6 kg.
- The W2I can also be ordered with or without covering. A half covered example is ideal for open top cars. Seat belt harness holes are included.
- The mounting points for the W2I are under the seat so that the TR1 Tillett Adjustment Runners can be bolted directly to the underneath (Please note that the runners must be spaced 1 cm from the underside of the seat to give clearance for the handle to operate.)
- Mounting of the seat is also possible straight to the floor using a piece of 25 mm box section or runner system and Nylon spacers can be supplied to tip the seat at different angles.
