The Recaro Pole Positio has been one of the most popular seat for decades, and this new variaton will be no different. With its timeless shape and classic vintage covers, this seat will look at home in any sports car, modern or classic. Â
The Recaro Pole Position Classic bucket seat is based on the ABE version of the Pole Position. This flares slightly at the hips providing more room for various shape and sized drivers. The Pole Position is also TUV approved and works with either a standard 3 point seat belt or 4 point harness system. At just 7.0kg this seat doesn’t just offer style, it also offers weight saving possibilities.

The Recaro Pole Position comes in 5 main variations. We have each version of the seat listed and available on our website. Here’s the difference between each model.

Pole Position FIA
The Recaro Pole Position FIA is suitable for Motorsport events. This variation is narrower at the hips to provide more driver support and only comes available in velour trim finish with the Recaro logo placed in bold on the headrest.Â
Pole Position ABE
The Recaro Pole Position ABE is suitable for road use. This variation is wider at the hips to provide more room for various sized drivers and comes in a range of trim finishes including Ambla leather and suede central panels.Â
Pole Position 2018 Edition
The Recaro Pole Position 2018 Edition is based on the ABE version of the seat but comes with a bespoke trim design which includes Carbon leather and green edging.Â
Pole Position Classic Edition
The Recaro Pole Position classic Edition is the latest in the range and comes available in a range of trims including; Caro, Courduroy, Pepita, and leather trims. This is based on the ABE shell design with a wider hip base.
Pole Position Carbon
The Recaro Pole Position Carbon is again based on the ABE variation of the seat but has a complete Carbon shell instead of fibreglass. This offers more rigidity and weight saving. The perfect seat for those wanting the very best in Recaro design.
