Tunerfest At Donington Park 2024
Come with us to Tunerfest Midlands 2024. We headed over to Donington Park, our local race track, for an event that brings tuning and performance into the heart of the country. This event has been a hit since it started back in 2019, this year involved a time attack championship, Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championship, and action-packed saloon car races throughout the day. Off the track their was a wide range of cars on show from car clubs and exotic supercar owners. It was great to see everyone have a good time and share the same passion for cars. MSUK Drift pro Championship Round 6
This took place throughout the day at Donington Park for several elimination-style rounds. It was a highly enjoyable event with a mix of close battles and near misses which lead to a thrilling final that crowned Olly Bolton the round 6 Donington Park winner. This was a day of seeing amazing talent on the track and technical driving from the Drift Pro drivers.
Mirco GT Seats At Tunerfest
While viewing the fantastic car display at Tunerfest Donington 2024, we spotted some Mirco GT bucket seats installed in an MX5 Mk1 which looks stunning. These seats are paired up with a Cybul fitting frame for a perfect fitment inside this restricted cockpit. These Cybul side mounts provide enough height for the Mirco GT shoulder wings to fit over the door cards for a flush fitment, removing the door cards will not be necessary with this set up.

Sparco Grid Q Seats At Tunerfest
One of the cars taking part in the MSUK Drift Pro Championship is track ready for Round 6 at Donington Park with a pair of Sparco Grid Q bucket seats. These are a perfect choice for a highly intense event like drifting, as they provide enough support to eliminate any lateral movement from the driver. This allows the driver to focus more on the track and improve performance instead of trying to stay planted in their seat.
Schroth Harnesses At Tunerfest
We saw some Schroth Profi II ASM 4-point harness belts inside a classic classic car that suited the interior perfectly, the silver harness belts matched the exposed metal inside the car and the roll bar above the classic seats. These harness belts have four different colour options to choose from including red, blue, black, and silver. The lap belts feature Schroth’s “flexi belt” system, allowing them to be configured as either pull-up or pull-down for tightening depending on the application, and the pull toggle allows for quick and easy adjustment even when wearing gloves.
